- סָרְסָא(סָרְסָיָא) m. (preced.) agent, manager on shares, esp. foreman of the brewery. Bekh.31b ר׳ אידי סָרְסֵיה דר׳וכ׳ Rashi (ed. סרסיא) R. J. was E. Shesheths steward. B. Mets.42b אמר ליה לסרסיהוכ׳ (Ms. F. a. R. לסרסיא) he said to his brewer, take from this pile. Kidd.52b ההוא סרסיא (corresp. to ההוא אריסא, ib.).
